How it works

The Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies system features six integrated sensors: three accelerometers (including one triaxial) and three gyroscopes (including one triaxial). Together, they deliver advanced crash monitoring across a wide range of dynamic riding scenarios — even when stationary. The crash detection algorithm has been developed and refined using millions of kilometers of real-world riding data and thousands of recorded crash scenarios. This enables the system to accurately determine when to deploy the airbag ahead of an impact or in critical situations such as a low-side or high-side crash. If a collision is detected, the airbag inflates in just 50 milliseconds.

Fully autonomous

The Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies is a completely self-contained active airbag system, requiring no external connections or sensors mounted on the motorcycle. When not in use, its packable construction allows for easy storage in a backpack or under the seat of your bike.

Wear it over or under

Rain or shine, the Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies is built to perform. It features a water-resistant main chassis along with a waterproof ECU and sealed electronics. The slim, standalone design allows it to be worn over your riding gear, or underneath a compatible leather or textile jacket — provided there is enough room to accommodate airbag deployment. The choice is yours. With the Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies, riders can approach their daily commute with greater confidence and peace of mind.

Certified protection

In accordance with European legislation, this product carries CE marking as proof of conformity. When deployed, the Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies provides full chest and full back protection and is certified as Category II PPE under Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It complies with the relevant requirements of EN 1621-4:2013 for motorcycle airbag systems, ensuring impact protection performance for a minimum of five seconds after activation. Impact attenuation performance meets Level 2 for both full chest and full back protection. The outer garment is certified under EN 17092-6:2020 Class C and constructed from water-resistant materials.
